The Faculty of Law is the leading school at the university. Professors and Associate Professors, highly qualified jurists give a thorough grounding in the principles of law, use different instructional techniques in teaching, and provide intensive extra curriculum activity. Law students are encouraged to develop practical skills. They complete a period of apprenticeship in the offices of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Procurator’s office, in the courts and in advocacy offices. Students have opportunities to participate in legal clinics where they work on ongoing cases with clients under the supervision of experienced jurists. Due to thorough theoretical knowledge and practical skills training the graduates of the university are working successfully in different government agencies and businesses.
